RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY FOR DEDICATION OF NEW FLOTILLA 11-9 CLASSROOM 17 SEPTEMBER 2008 A public affairs event was held to officially dedicate the flotilla's new classroom last evening. It was attended by Flotilla Commander, Roy Warner; Tarpon Springs Mayor, Beverly Billiris; Building Owner, Mike Lowe; several flotilla members, spouses and other special guests. The ribbon cutting was followed by pizza and refreshments. A Certificate of Appreciation was given to the Mayor for her support of Flotilla 11-9. A Certificate of Appreciation was also presented to the building owner, Mike Lowe for his support of our organization by donating the space we occupy, free of charge, to the flotilla. To say we are very proud of the new facility is truly an under-statement. THANK YOU ... TO ALL OF YOU WHO MADE IS POSSIBLE.
